Waterjet is especially good at cutting composite material, such as a tire with rubber and steel strings inside:
Commonly rubber should not be cut by means that will generate heat but meanwhile steel string inside requires powerful
cutting that usually generates heat.
Waterjet is of cold cutting. It can cut both rubber and metal at the same time without generate heat, so there
will no rubber burnning smell.
There can be dual cutting head waterjet cutter to help increase the efficiency.
Dual stand allows cutting on one stand and loading/unloading on the other stand to help save time if production
output rate is of concern.
Waterjet cutting can be applied to cut the used large size ORT (off road tyre) for recycling purposes.
